Baco Uruguay – the French bistro is offering a complete take-away meal including an entrée + main course + dessert. It’s one of the only restaurants open in Punta Carretas. Café Gourmand – our beloved coffee shop is delivering bakery items and freshly roasted Colombian coffee (ground or whole bean) to all the neighborhoods between the Old City until Tres Cruces Shopping Centre and Buceo. You can order Gourmand’s coffee to prepare at home, along with their specialties such as macarons, cookies, croissants, and pain au chocolat. El Mingus – is reopening! They are also continuing their delivery and take away options from Thursday to Saturday. They’re covering all the neighborhoods close by, including the City Center, Cordón, Parque Rodó and Pocitos. You can choose from their weekly menus (from 290 pesos) and also buy drinks, granola and dried fruit from El Mingus shop (“almacén”). Check out this week’s menu on their Facebook page and order via Whats App: +598 96105617. Regarding eating in – El Mingus is open for drinks and tapas currently from 6pm to 11pm Thu-Sat nights. They will be extending days and times in the coming weeks. Tables are distanced and other measures have been taken for your safety.

Es Mercat – possibly Montevideo’s best fish and seafood restaurant, located in Ciudad Vieja, is offering take away every Saturday, 12pm-3pm. Great option for having a delicious weekend lunch if you like fish and seafood! You can check out this week’s menu on their Facebook and Instagram, they publish it every Thursday.
